In this month of November, 2016, is the double anniversary of Maurice Carver, that of
his death 37 years ago (he died on November 23rd, one same day as I am writing
these lines) and the anniversary of his birth 100 years ago, being
this anniversary the main reason why I come to honor with this report
representing the FIAPBT Tribute, which in my
opinion is the best breeder of the American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT or Pit
Bull) of all old and modern times.
Maurice Carver was known
as "The Silver Fox" because of the wealth of experience and knowledge
he had for to breed good Pit Bull. Maurice
Carver was the breeder who was best able to take advantage of and preserve
through his upbringing, the valuable genetics of Tudor´s “DIBO”, the best
Pit Bull of all time and he get it especially through the “IRONHEAD” and “BULLYSON” crossings. The
Legacy of Maurice's dogs, continues intact in nowadays through the genetics of
some good specimens of the breed.
Here I add some videos and reports, which compiles an important part of
the life and the work with the breed

with him to cover his female called (Carver's) Long´s “BABY” with Walling´s “BULLYSON”. “Bullyson” was one of
the best stud dogs that Carver had by that
time and with the litter with (Carver's) Long´s “BABY” borned CARVER'S (DAVIS) “MIDNIGHT COWBOY”, being Maurice Carver the Oficial
breeder of "Midnight Cowboy",
since he made the decision
that this doggie come into the world.
